Further to that, we have fitted ATMs for easy and safe access to social grant beneficiaries. During the period of SASSA grant disbursement, our staff are always prepared to assist customers with their shopping needs, guiding them through our promotions, deals, and combos. Furthermore, safety and the securing of personnel are enhanced during this time, with extra security measures in place during pension pay-outs. This gives our customers reassurance that Boxer is a safe place to withdraw their grant. Some of our stores have extended hours of trade to accommodate our social grant and SASSA beneficiaries.

Serving SASSA Grantees:
At Boxer, we make our customers' shopping experience more convenient by offering Social Grant pay-outs. This allows customers to purchase groceries and access their grant pay-outs, all under one roof.

Boxer proudly services millions of SASSA grant beneficiaries each month, and our pay-points of sale accommodate all DSD-approved grants, including: Child Support Grant, Older Persons Grant, Foster Child Grants, Disability Grants, Grant in Aid, Social Relief of Distress Grants, and War Veterans Grants.

Store Openings Serve Communities:
Every time Boxer opens a new store, it invests in the welfare of the community it serves. Before the doors open to customers, the well-being of the community is made a priority by the store. This is done through donations and support to schools, charities, NPOs, and other worthy organizations in the area where the Boxer store is opening. Employment is another important factor in the opening of a Boxer store. Thousands of people across the country are employed in Boxer stores, Distribution Centres, the Meat Factory, and Head Office. With each new Boxer store opening, more people from the local community are given job opportunities.
